Part of the new Milwaukee Bucks arena sustainability program was announced by the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center (WESC) and concessionaire Levy Restaurants, featuring compostable food packaging and no straws.
The new arena, replacing BMO Harris Bradley Center, opens this fall.
Eliminating straws seems to be the newest trend in venue management. And offering compostable food packaging is also a trend in venue management.
“We are committed to protecting our environment by enacting eco-friendly initiatives at our world-class arena,” said Raj Saha, General Manager of WESC. “We will unveil our full sustainability plan as we get closer to opening the new venue, but we are proud to make our initial announcement on World Environment Day.”
