Local Scofflaw Brewing Co. now has a bar in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, upping the venue’s craft beer offerings.
Prior to the Atlanta Hawks‘ 2018-19 season, State Farm Arena (formerly Philips Arena) received the last round of a multiphase renovation that included many new food and beverage concepts. Tweaks to the venue’s beverage offerings are continuing after that project, as the Scofflaw-branded Scofflaw Beer Barn has opened in the arena’s 200 level.
Featuring up to 48 tap handles and a 101-foot-long bar, the Scofflaw Beer Barn will serve a variety of offerings from the brewery. Scofflaw branding will have a major presence in the space, with a goat sculpture inspired by the brewery’s logo a potential selfie spot for State Farm Arena visitors. More from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
Current Scofflaw offerings on tap include Dirty Beaches, a tropical wheat as well as Basement, Hooligan, JayWalker and POG Basement IPAs. More beers will be added in the future.
Visitors to the Beer Barn can take selfies with a goat sculpture, modeled after the brewery’s logo.
“The goat represents us well,” said Scofflaw CEO Matt Shirah. “We like to push the limits and break boundaries. We are active with our customers and community on a daily basis. We added the goat sculpture so customers can get a better feel for Scofflaw, take some pictures and share their brand experience in their own unique way.”
The Scofflaw Beer Barn is located on the North Concourse of the 200 level, above Section 215. It will be operational during all State Farm Arena events in which the 200 level is open.
