After a successful launch to the resumption of the 2019-2020 NHL season, the league declared another victory today: No positive COVID-19 test results so far in the Edmonton and Toronto player bubbles.

While MLB struggles with COVID-19 outbreaks and is tightening restrictions on players, it’s apparent the bubble approach to play was the right one. The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) recorded no positives during the 2020 Challenge Cup in Utah and MLS officials recorded no positives once play began at the MLS is back tourney.
