The Vegas Golden Knights have launched VGK VR at City National Arena, bringing a VR experience to their practice facility. VGK VR is powered by Sense Arena, an international VR software company based in the Czech Republic.
Sense Arena has used state-of-the-art virtual reality technology since 2018.
“We’re excited for VGK VR to be the latest addition to City National Arena,” said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. “Sense Arena’s cutting-edge technology will provide hockey players of all skill levels with an innovative way to develop their skills, while giving fans a perspective like never before.”
VGK VR offers several different settings and simulations for players of all skill levels. Participants that are 11 and older will be able to practice passing, shooting and timing while improving their overall game awareness.

The Golden Knights are our first NHL installation and we know they will bring tremendous attention to how player evaluation, development and rehabilitation can be improved and enjoyed by players who have at least basic stick handling skills.”
VGK VR launched on Thursday, October 24 with the following hours:
- Thursday, October 24 from 10:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. PT
- Friday, October 25 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. PT
- Saturday, October 26 from 9:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. PT
- Sunday, October 27 from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. PT
Beginning Monday, October 28, VGK VR will begin its regular hours of operation. Please note the hours of operation subject to change.
- Monday-Thursday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. PT
- Friday 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. PT
- Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. PT
- Sunday 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. PT
