New for 2017: CURE Insurance Arena

The arena in Trenton, NJ has a new naming rights partner, as a recently-announced agreement makes the venue CURE Insurance ArenaThe multi-year agreement was announced by Spectra by Comcast Spectacor. Terms of the deal were not announced.

The deal includes exterior and interior signage and brand recognition in all advertising for the facility. The arena’s website domain changed to reflect the arena’s new name (www.cureinsurancearena.com). All signage is expected to be in place by December 31, 2017.

“CURE Auto Insurance is thrilled to form this partnership with Mercer County and become the naming rights sponsor of its arena,” said Eric Poe, Chief Operating Officer, CURE Auto Insurance. “Becoming the title sponsor was an easy decision to make, given the pride we have in the community of Mercer County.”

“CURE’s positive brand association resonates strongly throughout our community and will be helpful in generating excitement around the arena and our events,” said Spectra’s Fran Rodowicz, General Manager, CURE Insurance Arena. “We are fortunate to collaborate with CURE and their valuable marketing prowess to help us cross-promote the arena.”

The venue’s new naming rights deal will coincide with new entertainment coming to the arena which includes platinum-selling country star Justin Moore on February 23, 2018.

The venue opened as Sovereign Bank Arena in 1999, but was more recently known as Sun National Bank Center.
