Pens prepare for big flush

No, the team isn’t making wholescale changes to its roster despite a disappointing run in the Stanley Cup playoffs. This flush has to do with the plumbing at the team’s new home, Consol Energy Center.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are recruiting 400 local students to take part in the June 10 “Student Flush,” where all the toilets and urinals are simultaneously flushed to test the system. It happens in all arenas; the Penguins are using the occasion as a student-rush promotion.
