The team begins play at MassMutual Center om Thanksgiving weekend; the goal is to attract 3,500 fans a game. That may be difficult — the Springfield Falcons (AHL) are already well-established in the market — but the team has already benefited from a lot of free publicity after naming former Boston Celtic Dee Brown as head coach.
