The management of the arena has been an issue since it launched; the Bloomington Prairie Thunder (USHL) has changed hands once, and the city has subsidized it to the tune of $300,000 annually since it opened. The new deal will not change the terms of the management arrangement, but it should be a step toward the facility being more self-sufficient.
