T-Wolves drop season-ticket prices for 2009-2010

The Minnesota Timberwolves are dropping season-ticket prices for the second straight year and throwing a $5/game ducat into the mix.In a sign of the times, the Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) are dropping season-ticket prices for the second straight year and throwing a $5/game ducat into the mix.

This is no gimmick: the T-Wolves are drawing poorly at Target Center, and the team says volume is the way to go to increase attendance in the post-Kevin Garnett area. To that end, fans can buy a lower-level seat for as low as $15 for a corner seat and $20 behind the baskets. The only tickets not to go down in price: courtside seats.

In addition, the team is offering to finance season tickets interest free and provide a refund if a buyer is laid off before using them.
