Really, we could have saved Perez and crew a trip to New York City. It’s no secret XL Arena just won’t cut it as a long-term home for NHL-level hockey; sure, you may be able to play a season or two at the former home of the Hartford Whalers, but it’s not a long-term solution to any team facing money woes. Like, say the Phoenix Coyotes.
