It’s an exciting time for the SMG-managed facility: Carrie Underwood already broke in the place with a opening-day concert, and bringing in both nationally rated Louisville teams for a doubleheader beginning with the women squaring off at 5:30 p.m. and men at 8 p.m.

For the Norse, the move to the larger facility puts the program on a higher level. The teams had played at Regents Hall since the 1972-73 season (and will still play some home games there when displaced by other events at The Bank of Kentucky Cente, such as an upcoming Alan Jackson concert).
