History
Built in 1993, the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim (“The Pond”) was created after the huge success of the Disney Film “Mighty Ducks.” An unusual city to have a hockey team, the Mighty Ducks engrossed almost 700,000 fans in their first season, with 27 sell-outs.

Ducks games are not the only events that take place in Honda Center. The NLL’s Anaheim Storm, as well as annual events including Disney on Ice, music concerts, the Harlem Globetrotters, and Barnum & Bailey Circus also share time at Honda Center.
