Latest Addition to American Airlines Center Premium Seating: The Lofts

American Airlines Center The Lofts

American Airlines Center is receiving a change in its premium seating options, as work continues on The Lofts

With this project, the home of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and NHL’s Dallas Stars will received a modified premium seating experience. A portion of the American Airlines Center is being renovated, with the final result being theatre-box style suites that are available as part of package that will offer offer several specials, including a high-end buffet and parking.

HKS has designed The Lofts, which are expected to be installed in advance of the Stars’ first games at the arena next month. This project also marks the latest change in recent years to premium seating options at the American Airlines Center, where theatre-box style seating options are catching on with spectators. More from The Dallas Business Journal:

The decision to retrofit a portion of the Dallas stadium to bring 36 theater box-style suites, called The Lofts, to the market came after the success of two other theater box projects, said American Airlines Center Chief Revenue Officer Andrew Silverman.

“We wanted to create an all-inclusive concept with house beer and wine and a high-end buffet to help entertain business clients or entertain employees,” Silverman told the Dallas Business Journal.“We don’t want to have our fans worry about dinner or parking, they can park in the Lexus garage and enjoy a high-end buffet with drinks.”

This will be the third retrofit of the American Airlines Center to create a premium option for fans. The Lofts will add 17 theater boxes seating four fans each to the stadium, bringing the total number of theater box options to 74 boxes, including the Service King Lounge Theater Boxes and the CyrusOne Club Loge Boxes.

As noted, the Stars will begin play at the arena next month, with their first home preseason game scheduled for September 19.
