It was another solid financial month for Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena, as the facility turned a $397K profit in May, with over 43,000 fans attending events at the new facility.
The Sedgwick County Board received the good news today.
The profitable month marks the sixth straight months of operating profits for the arena. Over $1.6 million in profits have been recorded since the facility opened in January. Total ticket sales since opening have tallied $9.8 million.
SMG, which manages the arena, announced that A.J. Boleski will be moving from Big Sandy Superstore Arena to assume the reins at Intrust Bank Arena. He replaces Chris Presson, who stepped down in April.
