The Wheeling Nailers will play 10 “home” games at Johnstown’s Cambria County War Memorial Arena this coming season, taking some of the sting out of the loss of the Johnstown Chiefs to Greenville for the 2010-2011 season.
It’s a pretty sweet schedule if you’re a Johnstown hockey fan: all 10 games are on the weekend (six on Fridays, three on Saturdays and one on a Sunday). If the Chiefs could have played all their games on the weekend they probably would never have moved to Greenville.
