Despite shuttering operations for the 2009-2010 season, Dayton Bombers owner Costa Papista says he’s working on a reorganization for the 2010-2011 season.
Technically, as far as the ECHL is concerned, Papista is an owner in good standing until the June league meetings. At that point he can present a reorganizaton plan to the rest of the league; a good plan will probably be approved.
Dayton is regarded as a pretty good market; the Dayton Dragons are among the best draws in minor-league baseball. Papista says he was working on a deal to sell a chunk of the team but the deal fell through, forcing him to call off next season.
