The canteens at the 10 arenas will replace potato chips, candy bars and pop with healthier alternatives like sandwiches, muffins and sports drinks. The idea to keep food with trans fats and sugar away from kids.

It’s a move parents wanted, apparently, but it does come at a price: because kids buy less of the healthy snacks, the canteen managers will expect less revenue. But the city will make up for the loss of revenue by cutting rents up to $4,000.
