At least that seems to be the case in Erie, Pa., where the high cost of attending Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) games has some fans looking at spending money closer to home — like at Erie Otters (OHL) games in Tulio Arena, where center-ice season tickets cost $230 a year. Still, like virtually every other sports team, the Otters are hurting a little: lower sponsorship sales aren’t made up by any increases in ticket sales.
