According to Doug Thornton, vice president of SMG, the company that manages the Superdome and neighboring New Orleans Arena, the arena suffered minimal damage. The glass atrium in front of the arena was unaffected, but some wall panels were dented. Also, an outdoor electronic display was damaged.
