Coyotes now current on arena lease payments

After suspending Jobing.com Arena lease payments last August because of financial issues, the Phoenix Coyotes are now current after wiring more than $300,000 to arena coffers.
After suspending Jobing.com Arena lease payments last August because of financial issues, the Phoenix Coyotes are now current after wiring more than $300,000 to arena coffers.

The financial issues facing the Coyotes are well-documented; the NHL has been forced to step in to help the team make payroll, and owner Jerry Noyes is working to sell part or all the team. The Jobing.com lease calls for the team to pay Glendale $42,708 monthly, plus sales tax proceeds and a percentage of other fees.
