Hornets shopping naming rights to New Orleans Arena

The New Orleans Hornets (NBA) have contracted the Octagon agency to explore a sale of the naming rights to New Orleans Arena.
The New Orleans Hornets (NBA) have contracted the Virginia-based Octagon agency to explore a sale of the naming rights to New Orleans Arena.

The Hornets have the power to sell naming rights to the arena per their 2001 lease when the team moved from Charlotte. This is not the first time the team has attempted to sell the naming rights; past efforts, obviously, were for naught.
