Former Minnesota North Stars and Montreal Canadiens star Bobby Smith shot down rumors that Sidney Crosby was interested in buying the QMJHL’s Halifax Mooseheads, saying the team was not for sale.
An item in the Ottawa Sun suggested Crosby would buy the team and his father, Troy Crosby, would run it. But Smith said the team is not for sale at any price and that he has a long-term plan for success.
