A proposed new $300 million arena in downtown Albuquerque is drawing some unexpected opposition from those who stand to benefit most from it: owners of downtown businesses.
A proposed new $300 million arena in downtown Albuquerque is drawing some unexpected opposition from those who stand to benefit most from it: owners of downtown businesses.

A report from KOB-TV on what business owners think about a proposed 12,000-seat arena — which is the subject of a market study, to the tune of $700,000 — shows many downtown business leaders in favor of the arena, which is slated to house concerts, events and possibly professional sports.
