Penguins announce Founding Partners for Consol Energy Center

Pittsburgh PenguinsThe NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins announced the seven Founding Partners at Consol Energy Center, as the team prepares to open its doors in a little over a month.

The seven Founding Partners are American Eagle Outfitters, Dick’s Sporting Goods, PNC Wealth Management, Trib Total Media, UPMC and Verizon.

“We are proud that our list of Founding Partners reads like a ‘Who’s Who’ of the Pittsburgh corporate community,” said David Morehouse, president of the Penguins. “All are companies that are extremely active in the community, are generous in their charitable efforts and reflect the best of what the city and the region have to offer.

“By joining us as Founding Partners, they are helping to ensure that Consol  Energy Center will be a spectacular state-of-the-art entertainment center for the people of Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania.”

Each Founding Partner will have an entitled signature Landmark in the new arena (entry gate, suite level, youth-oriented display) in addition to long-term category exclusivity, use of the Penguins’ logo and all the traditional marketing benefits of a Penguins partnership. Each also will have a Founding Partner medallion in the bowl of Consol Energy Center.
