Hamilton BulldogsWhen the city of Hamilton build Copps Coliseum in 1985, it was billed as a state-of-the-art facility for a future NHL team. Today, it's still a nice arena and the home of the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL), but it's far from being a suitable home for the NHL and deemed "economically obsolete" by one economist.

ECHL announces 2011 Hall Of Fame Class

ECHLThe ECHL announced the 2011 inductees for the ECHL Hall of Fame: Richard Adams, Phil Berger, Luke Curtin and Joe Ernst. The four will be formally inducted as the fourth class of the ECHL Hall of Fame at a luncheon ceremony held in conjunction with the league's All-Star Classic.
