Target Center Unveils Remodeled Premium Area

Treasure Island Resort & Casino Premium Area

The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Target Center have unveiled a new premium area. Named the Treasure Island Casino & Resort Premium Level, the space will have its grand opening on November 1.

Aside from providing an overhauled premium space that includes suite and club areas, the the Treasure Island Casion & Resort Premium Level stands out as being one of the first features to be overhauled in the renovations to the Target Center. The Target Center is in the midst of a three-phase renovation project that is expected to be complete by the 2017-18 NBA season. The third phase of the renovation will take place next summer, meaning that the Minnesota Lynx will spend the WNBA season at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center.

“The Timberwolves and Lynx are thrilled with the results of the newly renovated Treasure Island Resort & Casino Premium Level,” said Timberwolves & Lynx CEO Ethan Casson. “These beautiful suites and club spaces will provide an experience unlike any other in this market with high quality menu offerings, prime location seating for groups of varying sizes and plenty of open spaces for entertaining and socializing. We’re excited to activate our great partners in Treasure Island Resort & Casino and TCL within these spaces.”

Along with naming rights of the entire level, Treasure Island Resort & Casino will also have a strong presence in the reinvented Club TI. The expanded club space provides an all-inclusive experience with over 200 seats within the club itself and an additional 100 seats available in section 121 that receive access into the club. Club TI is also available for groups of 10 or more, giving corporate groups the opportunity to entertain employees or clients. Tickets in this section will be available with season ticket memberships as well as on a single-game basis.

Chariman's Club Target Center

“Treasure Island Resort & Casino has brought our modern Caribbean look and feel to the renovated Target Center,” said Treasure Island Resort & Casino Public Relations Manager Cindy Taube. “We have expanded Treasure Island’s brand presence to encompass the Premium Level, which is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate our lengthy partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx teams respectively. It’s Island Time in Club TI. This is where we will showcase our exciting resort amenities including Tado Steakhouse, The Lagoon Water Park, Wave Spa and Mount Frontenac Golf Course to all the fans who visit Club TI or the Premium Level.”

New Timberwolves partner TCL will hold the naming rights for the TCL Theater Boxes, a new-to-market offering that no other venue in town provides. The boxes give those looking to entertain smaller groups the amenities of an all-inclusive club seating experience with the prime location of the sideline premium level.

“As the Official TV of the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx, we are excited to unveil these premium TCL Theater Boxes as the Target Center opens its doors for the 2016-17 NBA season,” said Chris Larson, vice president of sales and marketing for TCL. “The first-class experience and unique position of these boxes is a perfect match for our customers’ passion for high quality entertainment and attainable luxury.”

Additional new spaces include the Chairman’s Suites, which are located along the sideline and include a private suite with a balcony and access to the Chairman’s Club. The club provides a gourmet dining experience with a complimentary bar that overlooks center court. Chairman’s Suites are set up for groups of up to 16 people.
