Solar Bears Sell Naming Rights to Ice

Orlando Solar Bears

The Orlando Solar Bears have sold naming rights to the ice at the Amway Center, agreeing to a pact with American Residential Services (ARS). As a result of the deal, the ice will now be known as ARS.com Rink at Amway Center

This agreement allows ARS to have it logo display in prominent places on the surface, including on either side of the Solar Bears’ logo. Branding opportunities will include announcements when the Bears take the ice for regular season and playoff games. The agreement takes effect beginning in the 2016-17 season.

“We are proud to embark on this partnership with the Orlando Solar Bears,” said Bryan Craun, Division Vice President of ARS. “The Solar Bears are a treasured part of the community and provide a positive outlet for children, encouraging healthy living and sportsmanship. We also loved the idea of being associated with the Amway Center, a venue that keeps people cool even during the hottest days in Orange County. Restoring the comfort of homeowners and making sure they have energy efficient air conditioning is what we do on a daily basis. We are excited to cheer on the Solar Bears this upcoming season.”

Another key component to the partnership highlights ARS®/Rescue Rooter® as the exclusive residential heating, cooling and plumbing partner of the Orlando Solar Bears.

“We’re thrilled to have American Residential Services as a corporate partner and to have them as the naming rights sponsor of the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center,” said Michael Kalinich, Solar Bears Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. “Our relationship with ARS has grown over the past year and we look forward to working on new opportunities together in the future.”
