Miscellaneous UFC yanks show from Salt Lake after poor ticket sales
It's a surprise, given how hot UFC is nationally and how often the company sells out arenas -- even big-buck matches like UFC 114 in Las Vegas. But the sporting population in Salt Lake City isn't ready yet to support UFC and its headlining match between Jon Jones and Vladimir Matyushenko, or maybe they're just cheap: television ratings in the Utah city are strong.
