Bridgestone Arena hit by Nashville flooding

Nashville PredatorsIt’s a good thing that the Nashville Predators (NHL) were eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs: a couple of inches of water is sitting on the main floor of Bridgestone Arena where the ice would be installed.

Flooding has hit Nashville hard this spring, with the Cumberland River cresting at almost 52 feet. It’s wreaked havoc on the city.

Reports from Bridgestone Arena indicate water is coming in from the drainage system servicing the arena. There are no events scheduled for the arena until the end of the month.
